Digital and Paper Holiday Greetings 2 Happy New Year
Yes, 2025 was a crazy year!
Our life is blessed with seven grandchildren & four energetic mini dachshunds,
also fill our
home and our laps. It’s never a dull moment at our house.
We are incredibly proud of our kids as they each work hard at their choice of career and continue to grow and succeed as they create their own lives and families. It is so much fun watching the grandkids at their school and sporting events. FaceTime lets me chat with my California granddaughter Cora forever if she’s in the mood, or allows me to be at one sporting event while my daughter Kelly is at another, and share a big hit or get last-minute encouragement from Uncle Aaron or grand(Pa) at a football game. This is the new way we can all participate in all of it. Sometimes we even get to play cousins since my sisters' families are here and doing the same thing.
The new mix of digital and real life, in person and far away, all mixed together.
We are learning how to utilize and enhance the great technology we have and improve upon it. Make it useful in our everyday lives, without it taking over our lives.
I believe this quickly changing and evolving technology can be wonderful and “Jetson” dreamlike if we let it. We need to get open-minded. Let AI do its thing with a firm hand and close supervision.

By whom? I don't know. The many "theys" they hire to watch over AI to make sure it's behaving.
The more we use this technical genius, the smarter it becomes. But also, the more we use it for good, maybe the human it can become. There is so much to learn, and my Pondering brain is on overload researching this. It's exciting and scary and 100 percent out of my control. So I will continue to try to help friends find dream homes, love on my grandkids and weenie dogs, and ponder while the world changes again. Like it did when electricity and the internet were invented, the world will be different again, but only time will tell.
Now I am one of those elders, sitting and watching, pondering and drinking her coffee, and documenting it for my readers.
On to an exciting 2026, everyone!
May the year bless you with an abundance of Joy and Good Health!
Good Times and Hopefully Some Successes!
Cheers to good friends near and far. Those you know and get to physically hold, and those you only know digitally but still hold close to your heart.
Happy New Year!
Love,
Peggy
