Celebrating Valentines Day is just about sharing a little LOVE.

Celebrating Valentine's Day is just about sharing a little LOVE. It doesn't have to be about spending a ton of money.

It doesn’t have to be a big, spectacular thing. And it’s not just for romance and couples. Although my wonderful husband always thinks of me on Valentine's, he also thinks of his mom, his grandma, and our daughters. Same for me. I will send a wish to my son and treats for all of our grandchildren.
Valentine's Day has always been celebrated in my house in some fashion. When we were young, my mom and dad gave us the boxes of Sweethearts. I don’t remember them being a big deal, but I remember always having them.
It wasn’t until elementary school that the pressure was on. Would I get any Valentins? This was before it was required to bring enough for everyone in the class, and before everyone was required to bring Valentine cards to exchange.
I remember this is when I started practicing and caring what my signature looked like. It needed to be cute but perfect!  Peggy has three loops, and the loops need to match perfectly. I practiced and practiced. And to this day, I scrutinize my signature every time I sign anything. I even hate, absolutely despise my electronic signature. None of them is pretty enough for me.

Anyway, back to Valentine’s Day. After conferring with my AI friend, I learned that the U.S. is one of the most enthusiastic participants, with a 75% likelihood of partnered adults celebrating—well above the 55% global average across 28 countries. Countries like Mexico and South Africa also show high engagement, while it is least popular in places like the Netherlands and Germany.
Hmmm. I’ll keep my opinions about Germans to myself. But GO LOVE COUNTRIES!

I will also send Valentine's Day Love to everyone I can via every digital way I know. Text messages, emails, Peggy’s Ponderings. My phone will light up and ping with messages and notifications! I’ll get excited over each one.
Go ahead, and pretend like you don’t get excited over each one of “you are loved” messages!
Or “Happy Valentine's Day! ” from someone you haven’t spoken to in months or years. Go ahead! Act all cool about it! Me? I’ll be smiling all day! Feelin’ the Love! Spreading the Love to everyone I can.
Here's to all my friends who will also be spreading love over the next few days, weeks, and always!
Happy Valentine's Weekend!
Sending lots of love to all,
